JVideoInput

Want to access webcam from your Java application? It’s modified from OpenIMAJ Video Capture Library and removed unnecessary dependencies.

JVideoInput uses BSD license, too. And credit goes to OpenIMAJ and contributors.

 

Binary: jvideoinput-1.0.1.jar

Source: jvideoinput-1.0.1-sources.jar

Demo Application: JVideoInputDemo.zip ==> unzip it then double click on “JVideoInputDemoLauncher.jar” or from command line do “java -jar JVideoInputDemoLauncher.jar”

Source of demo application: VideoInputDemo.java

    Thank you for a nice app! It’s really amazing. I love those tiny, small apps just working without a garbage inside :-)
    I have a question. Can I take screenshots using your “light” library? If yes, could you provide some sample code. Sorry, I’m a newbie in Java.

      To capture screen, use java.awt.Robot.createScreenCapture() method.
